Gururaja Precitech Industries (G.P.I) Pvt. Ltd. started in the year 1975 and came up as an ancillary with the encouragement of B.H.E.L. in 1979 and still continuing with it.

An engineer joined the organization in 1980 right since its inception and was totally incharge of the production shop. As the company was started as an ancillary to M/s BHEL and doing all the Job Works for their power plant requirements he has become well aware of all the requirements meant for the power sector.
An Engineer from Gulbarga University joined BHEL. in 1967 as engineer and worked until 1980 in various fields. He was one of the key persons to introduce 110 MW steam turbines of SKODA design. He was trained in SKODA works in the manufacture of steam turbines of various capacities ranging from 1.5 MW to 110MW.
An Engineer from Bangalore University joined the organization in 1997. He was totally in charge in manufacturing Diaphragms of HP and IP of 110 MW Skoda make for BHEL in 1998. He has executed diaphragms of 210MW to Haridwar and fabricated LP Diaphragms with Hollow Blades to M/s BHEL-Hyderabad.
